Project Manager in Agile Software Development

At the Command and Control department, we develop advanced command systems and user interfaces for our ground-based radar systems. We are now looking for a driven and technically skilled project manager who wants to lead our software development efforts and ensure efficient deliveries.

Your Role

As a project manager with us, you play a key role in driving and coordinating one or more software projects. You work closely with the development teams and create an environment where agile methods and technical understanding go hand in hand to achieve the best possible results.

You will:

• Plan and lead one or more software projects for the development of our command systems.
• Ensure delivery of functionality with high quality, on time and within budget.
• Act as a bridge between our agile development teams, project management, and line organization.
• Drive technical discussions and contribute your understanding of the challenges of software development.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to cost estimates and planning of future commitments.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a strong combination of technical competence, leadership, and communication skills. You have experience working in both traditional and agile environments and are used to leading technical teams in complex development projects.

We prefer that you have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Agile and traditional project management
• Software development - a good technical understanding of modern development methods and tools
• Technical leadership - you can guide teams through complex technical challenges
• Communication and collaboration - you can explain technical concepts to different audiences and create engagement
• System understanding - you see both the big picture and the details in a larger technical context

Fluency in Swedish and English is a requirement, as you will serve as an important link between technology, projects, and the organization.

What Will You Be Part Of

You will be part of C2, Command and Control, a department with 85 employees, where we are responsible for developing the command systems that are part of our ground-based radar systems. The department includes everything from systems engineers and architects to developers and verifiers, as well as the project and management functions required to deliver a complete command system.
